Rev. Marsha Thomas provides professional wedding services in the greater Chicagoland area - especially Chicago’s South and Southwest Suburbs; Joliet and Kankakee.
Rev. Marsha earned a Master of Divinity from the Chicago Theological Seminary and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1989. She is authorized to perform marriages anywhere in the greater Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs.
Marsha loves planning and performing weddings. For over 20 years she has officiated weddings in a variety of settings including churches and private homes, country clubs, mansions, banquet halls, bed & breakfasts, a train station, and even at the Taste of Chicago!
Working with couples is Marsha's passion. She listens to your hopes and dreams for your wedding day and helps to make those dreams a reality. Marsha will incorporate elements in your ceremony that convey the love you share, the commitment you are making to each other, and the uniqueness of your personalities. Perhaps you are a fun-loving couple and want your ceremony spiced up with bits of humor. Or, maybe your marriage represents the blending of two families. She can offer you ideas for rituals that include other family members - especially the children – that will help them feel recognized, included, and well loved on this very special occasion.
